A Family Letter Update
Here is an update that I wrote for the Richare Vernile Goodworth family letter:
Kaneesha had the biggest change for our family. Last fall she played soccer for Southern Virginia University, and at the end of the semester felt that she needed to leave Virginia and go to school in Logan, at Utah State University. We supported her in the change and, a few days after she moved to her new apartment, she met Riley. Within a few months, they were engaged. They were married on August 9th in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. They will finish Riley's final semester and then probably move to Salt Lake in December. We love having Kaneesha closer to home and are grateful for her choice in a husband.
Wayne & Noell Goodworth Family
Still living in Payson, Utah, where we love our friends & neighborhood.
Wayne manages the Springville LDS Employment office just 15 minutes from home and loves that he no longer has a 2-4 hour commute to and from Salt Lake. He enjoys spending his additional time with the family and around the home. Earlier this year, he was called as Scoutmaster. He enjoys spending time with the young men in the ward. Scout camp was a lot of fun. He also had the opportunity to spend the week with Myranda at young women's camp.
Noell returned to school last year and just began her new semester. She recently decided that she will major in Secondary Health Education. Because of her love of sports and her desire to improve health, she felt this would be perfect. She enjoys playing volleyball and basketball in city leagues (and even neighboring city leagues).

Myranda is enjoying her 9th grade year, as the oldest class at Payson Junior High. She enjoys German, drama, orchestra (she plays the cello), and especially likes her first semester in seminary. On the first day of seminary, the teacher gave a powerful lecture on lying, "Wo, unto the Liar, etc." and then asked who plays the piano. While Myranda only had piano lessons for a short time, and hasn't played much in the last few years, she stepped up to the challenge. She has played several times in class (only two others play the piano). She has also been improving, because she is taking Grandma's "Hymn-A-Day" challenge this year. She's also enjoying her time on the high school soccer team.
Tanner turned 10 in July and has been excited about being a Webelos Scout. At the August pack night, he was award two activity badges. He's nearly earned his Webelos badge, already. He is glad to have one of Myranda's previous school teachers as his 5th grade teacher. She is a lot of fun, and challenges the students to learn. Tanner is also working on Grandma's "Hymn-a-Day" challenge, and is becoming a great pianist (like his sisters). Tanner is also enjoying his time playing soccer. In one of his last games, he came behind the goalie and made a beautiful save that prevented his team from facing a loss.
We're grateful for the many blessings we've been given and for the opportunity to be related to so many awesome relatives. We wish you all the best.
Wayne, Noell, Kaneesha & Riley Wardle, Myranda, and Tanner Goodworth
