Thanksgiving Week!
After working on Monday and Tuesday, we drove to Daybreak, Utah on Wednesday to spend the night with Kaneesha, Brooks, and Kristin. When we arrived, they had a nice taco dinner waiting for us.
After dinner, Kaneesha explained that a small screw fell into their garbage disposal. Earlier, they’d invited a plumber over to give them an estimate. The plumber explained that it would cost around $700 to get it repaired. Amazingly (after unpluging the disposal) Tanner reached in with his hand and pulled the screw out! Wow, it now works! Tanner suggested that they might only pay him $650.
After the children were asleep, we played games at the table. It was fun to play and be in their home and visit. We also slept well, when we finally went to bed 😊.
Thanksgiving afternoon we went to Noell's parents (Jim and Beth’s) home for Thanksgiving dinner. Noell’s sister, Michelle and her family were there. Dinner was excellent! After dinner we relaxed, visited and played some games. Michelle and her daughters even performed a hand-clap song for us.

Because Kristin is planning to visit her parents--who are at a high risk-category for Covid-19 (because of cancer) Kaneesha, Brooks and Kristin didn’t come for Thanksgiving dinner. Instead, we invited them over on Friday. Kristin stayed home, but Kaneesha and Brooks spent the day with us.
One of the things Jim needed help with was to have his new webcam working on his new computer. I spent time working on it. After unsuccessfully uninstalling and re-installing the camera, I decided to try using the camera on my computer. When it wouldn’t work on my computer, I decided the camera was broken.
Saturday after putting Tate and Dawson down for a nap, we went to Kaneesha’s to see her at work, say goodbye, and buy a new webcam. We were entering Sprouts (where Kaneesha works) just as she was walking out the other door. She saw us and called to us. She wasn’t feeling well and was heading to our friend Heidi Spencer Vawdrey (for a checkup).
We decided to wait for Kaneesha's apointment. We did some shopping and then took Brooks for a walk and a play in the park. When Kaneesha made it home from her checkup (she had an infection) and we visited briefly before saying goodbye. We found a webcam at another store and then drove past the Salt Lake Temple to see the construction progress. Because I was driving, I didn’t take a photo. Noell and Tanner didn’t see the need for a photo. I found this photo online:

We returned to Jim and Beth’s for a quick dinner, to pack the car, and return to Idaho. We got back home at 9:15pm. Noell had Ward Council beginning at 7am Sunday, so as soon as we could get things put away, we went to bed.
After online Sacrament meeting, we ate breakfast and then attended online Sunday School. They talked about family history, so after we put the twins down for their nap, I did some family history work. We then hurried to the Church for our Emotional Resilience for Self-Reliance group.
Hailey Harrison’s birthday is today, so Noell decided to make a treat for her. She made caramel brownies. Hailey made a treat for my birthday (or sometime when I was sick) and made a treat for Tanner’s birthday. Tanner and I thought we’d be nice and make a treat for her, but Noell thought that it might be better if the treat were edible, so she made the treat 😉.
