I Found One!---Actually THREE!

So, This is Myranda  typing. I am going to act as Wayne!                                                                       Yesterday our family had it with our IPod's being gone so we cleaned
 the ENTIRE upstairs.  

Tanner wanted to find "His" IPod (Technically Noell's He just played the games and claimed it as his.)  He had his IPod lost for the past 3 months!  And Myranda didn't want her IPod to break, It was lost for a week. Noell, Myranda, And Tanner cleaned, and cleaned.  And through their looking, they found Selina's old iPod.  She was like "You found My old IPod?!? Now I have three!" And was really worried!

The whole upstairs had been cleaned and they didn't find Myranda's OR Tanner's.  So My FABULOUS daughter (Myranda) decided she was going to look in our FABULOUS--Mini Van.  (HAHAHA) She searched and searched (Long story Short) And found it in the pocket on the back of the seat of the car.  She was hoping so much it would be hers and there it was...Tanners.  (Dang!) She went inside to "Become a HERO!"  (Isn't Myranda just so awesome?!)  Everyone was happy but WHERE WAS HER'S?  Then Noell said to Myranda, "Go check under the couch cushions again."  She was like BLAGH! I already checked there.  She played a little game in her head.   (Insert Game-show host-like voice.)  "Let's see whats behind cushion number One!"  And you know what was there?  Nothin'.   (Sad Day.)  "Oops, we're sorry, you lost the Ipod.  Now who's next?  ----  Okay then, let's see what's behind cushion number Two!  You just won.... You're very own Eight GB Ipod!"  HAHAHA and there it was, right under the couch cushion!  (Didn't we look there already?!)  Bahahaha.  So now, we all live happily ever after- with our three "New-old"  iPod's!  WHOO HOO!!

Lindon Cannery Closure

In May of this year, I started working at the Lindon Cannery. It was such a blessing to end the commute to Salt Lake. Also, because of production, we worked four ten hour days. This left my Fridays free to do the things I, and my family, needed. I was typically gone from home about the same amount of time each day that I had been gone when I traveled to Salt Lake (but I didn't have to go to work on Fridays). On September 30th it was publicly announced that the Lindon Cannery would be merging with the Murray Cannery.  On November 14th we had our last day of production at the Lindon Cannery. Besides being the final day of canning in Lindon, it was also the last day any of the canneries in the church canning system were expected to be canning in glass jars. Keyboard Shift

This week the shift keys on my Bluetooth iPad keyboard stopped working. I got online and discovered that an update caused trouble with the shift keys for a number of people. I tried all the suggestions that they had and was unsuccessful. After all that, I tried the Bluetooth keyboard I use for my computer. The computer keyboard worked just great on my iPad. I then decided to try one of my two old keyboards where the stand that held the iPad had broken. That keyboard worked just fine. I then took the old keyboard from my old iPad case and replaced the newer (broken) keyboard on my newer iPad case. It works great and I think it looks OK. Noell gives me a hard time when I do some of these repairs, instead of just buying a new iPad case. I was excited because it took me about the same amount of time as I would have spent researching and buying a new keyboard and I didn’t spend any money. Sick Weeks

Several weeks ago, I faced a terrible stomach ache. I tried to just deal with it, hoping it would go away. All night I was in such pain. By morning, we contacted the Harrisons and Michael came to give me a blessing. I then went to the Firth Medical Clinic (Shirley Bame’s suggestion). They gave me an injection that took the pain away. By Monday I was much improved, but the pain hadn’t completely gone away. The clinic called and put me on antibiotics. After a few more days, they suggested I see a specialist (gastroenterologist). When I got to him, he decided that because of the symptoms and the fact that Dean has Crohn’s Disease, that I needed an upper GI and a colonoscopy. While I was finally feeling better (after several weeks of illness) this week was difficult for me. On Monday, Tanner had his jaw surgery. Noell went to the hospital with him.
